Good Deeds

Day 6 – There are good deeds and bad deeds, and then there are dirty deeds. And if you are an AC/DC fan you know that dirty deeds are done dirt cheap. So what about good deeds? Should we actually put effort into doing good deeds on a daily basis?

If we believe in reaping what we sow then we definitely want to do good deeds, since good deeds done mean we will get good deeds done for us in the future. Nothing wrong with that.

Personally, I enjoy doing good deeds, and helping others in any way I can. Sometimes that means I say nice things, and very often it means I do them a favor. Occasionally I will give someone a ride if they don’t have their own transportation. We can all do these kinds of good deeds.

If you are like me, you actually enjoy putting a smile on someone’s face, or otherwise helping them through a bad day. Sometimes others do that for me, and I am always grateful.

Another way to do good deeds is to donate money or time to charity. There is always help to be given there. Unfortunately, there is always some kind of disaster or crisis going on where people need our help on a large scale. All we have to do is watch the news and we are bombarded with disasters and tragedies.

Buying a gift for a friend or relative on their birthday is a good deed. Not everyone does this, and people are generally grateful to be remembered.
