Both the Democratic and Republican nominees running against me seem to be content with perpetual in-person campaigning on a large scale. They are constantly making rallies and meet and greets.
If it weren’t for the pandemic this would be totally acceptable, and I would be doing it myself, but at this particular time, and seeing what such activities can do, it seems to me they are putting themselves and their constituents at risk.
President Trump did this and he, his wife, and several close co-workers have come down with COVID 19. I encourage Blair and Diana to stop the in-person campaigning for their safety and the safety of those who attend. It’s the right thing to do.
This is not normal politics these days, folks. It can be deadly.
