Before important funds can be released to aid the safe and smooth transition of power the GSA (General Services Administration) must release a huge chunk of money to the Biden transition team to aid in the hiring, processing, and training of 4,000 employees. It seems the GSA has not acknowledged the victory of the Biden ticket, so the funds are being withheld. This is deeply troublesome, so I sent the administrator of the GSA the following letter.
Greetings Ms. Murphy, I am writing about the paragraph quoted below from msn.com. It seems to me you are withholding funds that need to be released to the transition team so Biden can do what needs to be done. If I understand correctly you must verify that President elect Biden has won the election, and you are refusing to do that. Why?
“By withholding its stamp of approval, the GSA is also depriving the Biden camp of resources needed to install a new team of leaders — a massive and cumbersome bureaucratic effort even under the best of circumstances. A prolonged delay from the GSA could hinder incoming officials from acquiring security clearances, government email addresses, and office space.”
Please do the right thing, and make this election official, so we can carry on as a nation. “We the people” have spoken. We have elected a new president. I know you are a Trump appointee, but please put the country first.
Respectfully,
Steve Holder
