Today I posted the following in a Facebook group that discusses the Summer Wells case. I wanted to see if anyone else had thought of the possibility of a generational curse on this family.
Do any of you here believe in generational curses? The Bible does mention it. I am only presenting this for conversation; I don’t know if that applies to this family. Just a consideration. Exodus 34:4-74 So Moses chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones and went up Mount Sinai early in the morning, as the Lord had commanded him; and he carried the two stone tablets in his hands. 5 Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. 6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”
I did get some interesting answers that confirm others may be open to consider the possibility this is the case with the Wells family.
One lady says that she comes from a family with no communication skills, and alcoholism. She went on to say she has broken both generational curses. “I think there is definitely repeated behavior in the Bly/Wells family,” she said.
Another person says she doesn’t know about a generational curse, but she does wonder if someone has put a hex, curse or something on her a long time ago. So, the view of this lady is that other people have the ability to curse people or families.
Is the Wells family cursed? And if so, is it a curse from God or a curse some evil person put on them. One has to wonder.
