Does Your Life Suck?

There are many reasons someone can get to the point in their life that they think it really sucks, and they don’t want to live it anymore.  Many people are in this situation.  Often it is because of some kind of trauma in the past, present, or both.

Several times in my life I have been in situations where I truly believed that things would never get better, but I was wrong.  Things did get better, and I lived through it.  So, I am telling you now that you are not “down for the count.”  You don’t need to give up on life, but you may want to rethink some things.

It is necessary for you to be open-minded and honest with yourself.  You also must be willing to make changes in your life.  So, if you are willing to open your mind and to be honest with yourself about what is wrong and what needs to be fixed, then you have a reason to be optimistic.

The first thing you need to do is to identify the reason, or reasons, you believe that life sucks. Have you experienced trauma in the past that left you shattered emotionally or psychologically?   Read my book LIFESUCKS to learn how to put your life back together.

There is hope for things to get better.  I repeat.  There is hope.   You need to know that change is possible.  Say it out loud a few times every day.    There is hope.  There is hope.  There is hope.

The above article is a slightly revised excerpt from the book LIFE SUCKS: Is There Hope for Me?  By Steve Holder
